The ”Particle Grey” Air Jordan IX was a colorway of the IX that Jordan Brand intended to make its retail debut in January. As this is the last day of said month and the sneaker is not on retailers’ shelves, the IX is the latest release to have its debut postponed.
It sports a black upper overlaid with particle grey. University Red shows up on the ”AIR JORDAN” on the tongue and the global Jumpman logo on the rear, above a black embroidered ”23”. A particle grey midsole and black Jumpman-clad white rubber outsole completes the revealed aesthetic.
As previously stated, once planned for a January drop, the “Particle Grey” Air Jordan IX has now had its maiden retail voyage pushed back until sometime April. We will report on an exact release date once that information avails itself.
